This tour allows you to experience the other side of Baja
Each participant has an opportunity to drive an H2 Humvee during the expedition, and all vehicles are equipped with a radio communication system. All Baja Outback expeditions are designed to be a learning experience, through interactions with the natural surroundings, ensuring the utmost safety while providing the most comfortable riding conditions for participants.
The Rancho La Verdad Expedition is a pleasant, four-hour trek into the Baja territory very few people will ever experience in this form or fashion. Advancing quickly out of the populated Cabo, and into the compelling micro-climates only takes about thirty minutes drive-time, and shortly thereafter, participants will stop at one of the highest mountain peaks in Southern Baja. Group pictures atop a gigantic rock is not only scenic, but provides a sense of the memorable togetherness experience.

The mid-point of the Rancho La Verdad Expedition is an encounter with a working ranch; interacting with the ranch animals, observing the organic produce that grows abundantly in what is seemingly a barren desert, learning about the rich soil that the Baja Peninsula possesses, and monitoring how a natural spring supplies all of the water to the ranch using an elaborate irrigational system. You will also enjoy a great snack.
Afterwards, you will again venture out in caravan to some more remote parts of the Baja deserts, completely encompassed by wildlife and hundreds of species of cactus, plants, and rare trees. An interesting passage through two small communities lacking running water and seemingly in the middle of no where, will provide intrigue. And finally, the finale is four-wheeling through an enormous arroyo that leads to an incredible “sand wall” stretching hundreds of feet upwards. This is also one of the locations used in the opening scene of the feature film entitled Troy, starring Brad Pitt.
